Agribusiness Council of Indiana Partners with Crestcom International
ACI members now have access to internationally recognized leadership development programs

It is commonly accepted that Indiana’s agribusinesses are facing more challenges today than ever before. Organizations must address uncertain markets and a global pandemic, while also providing their teams the skills to thrive in an ever-changing environment.

With members in mind, ACI has partnered with Crestcom International, a globally recognized leadership development organization, to offer Crestcom’s results-oriented, live facilitated leadership development program in a virtual environment.

“As the proactive voice of business serving Indiana agriculture, we are always looking for ways to provide leadership development opportunities for our members,” said Amy Cornell, ACI president. “The new partnership with Crestcom does just that. Participants will gain insight from Crestcom’s global audience and expert facilitators, allowing them a broader perspective to address challenges and opportunities that they face on a daily basis."

The 12-month Crestcom Leadership Development program includes two live two-hour courses each month for a total of 48 hours of interactive leadership development experiences. Additionally, participants will use Crestcom’s proprietary learning portal to log intentional monthly action plans. Their behavior change is further reinforced during in-house reporting sessions with their employer and a Crestcom coach.

Crestcom’s curriculum focuses on the twelve critical core leadership and workforce skills, including very timely topics such as: effective communication, leading through change, decision making, developing productive and accountable teams and recruiting and retention. Each topic is offered multiple times during the month, which allows participants to incorporate courses into busy schedules – a significant concern for agribusinesses. The virtual platform grants equal access for member companies across the state, as participants can engage with the program from their office or home.
